Dream...Inspire...Create

Heya everyone,

My second post for the day...

Recycled another piece of cardboard for some mixed media fun...
Changed this piece of cardboard...

to this....

I had a lot of fun creating the background...with gesso...gelatos...stencils...distress inks...dylusions...
The flourish is a chipboard piece which was coloured with Distress Stains. I traced around the flourish with a silver paint marker and gave the flourish some highlights with a white gel pen...

For the words, I wrote them on a piece of cardstock with a white gel pen...and inked them with Vintage Photo DI to reduce the black and white contrast. I also covered them with Fevicol(glue) to give them some glossy dimension,,,

Stencils used ->
Hero Arts Chevron stencil
Finnabair Bubbles Stencil

I am entering this piece in the following challenges:

  6. Hi Purvi, I like your up-cycle project as I tend to do the same too with cardboard :) Do you place this stunning artwork on your wall? I love the juicy looking flourish and your background has that really sweet and tranquil scene to my eyes. Loving it! Thank you for playing along at STAMPlorations February Mixed Media Challenge. Look forward to see you again next month Purvi and happy creating!
